About Eddie
I’m a British adventure sports photographer based in Whistler, in the Coastal Mountains of British Columbia. With a background in outdoor instruction and a lifelong connection to the mountains, I bring both technical understanding and lived experience into my work.
Specialising in skiing and mountain biking, I’ve spent the past eight years capturing athletes, environments, and stories across the United Kingdom and Canada’s west coast, particularly throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor. My work spans sports action, portraiture, commercial, lifestyle and corporate events, with a focus on creating authentic, dynamic imagery that reflects the energy of the moment.
What drives me?
As someone who has always felt the pull of the mountains and the sports they make possible, my aim behind the camera has remained constant: to create images that stir the same sense of excitement in others that I feel myself.
Whether its a downhill mountain bike race run, tranquil moments surrounds by snow and mountains, or the booming atmosphere of an international event, I strive to produce pieces that inspire people, connect people, and encourages people to go and get involved.
Photography has helped to open so many doors, including giving me the opportunity to live and work in an area of the world that is constantly motivating me, which helps to keep me chasing the next big goal every single day.
